What is the vision of Journey Metropolitan Community Church? Jesus said I am the way the truth the life
We are on a journey of faith
It is defined by relationships with God, our community and ourselves. It is not a creed or dogma. It is not set in stone: unchangeable and unmoveable
It is a spiritual adventure, exciting, uncertain, daunting
It is a light to the path to see what is round the next corner It is inspiring us to achieve Gods mission for us and be more of a community It is an unfinished statement that we are completing together

To see what messages we can glimpse from Scriptures, experience, traditions that are evolving and logic
To see the beauty of creation, the warm breast and bright wings of the Spirit in Gods grandeur God’s Grandeur By Gerard Manley Hopkins To see joy in anothers eyes
To feel peace and contentment

Rev 7:9-17 sees a world with no hunger or thirst.
A flock of content sheep being looked after by the Lamb of God We want to see the needs in the world for justice and equality We want to see where we can serve others, heal the world, and bring in signs of the Kingdom of God
Who is my neighbour? What can I do for them? How can I be a Good Samaritan? As MLK said in I have a dream I have a dream my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character. Or LGBTQ, male for female

We are a worshipping community
We have experiences and privileges to share
We have great potential, a divine spark, loved by God
We want to grow into richer relationships with God, our community and self-knowledge

We have looked at where we have come from, our history
We have looked at who we are with our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats
We look to today at who Journey is, what is its structure?
We look at the past where we want healing or to revisit how we see it using sand
We look at my wishes for the future worship and service and pray for our vision
